What is the National Auto Body Council?
The National Auto Body Council is a not-for-profit organization committed to the goal of improving the image of all dedicated professionals in the collision repair industry.

NABC Vision Statement:
The Collision Repair Industry is recognized as an essential profession serving the community.

NABC Mission Statement:
To develop and implement programs and activities to enhance the image of the Collision Repair Industry

Don't other trade associations do the same things?
All associations want to improve the image of their members, but with all of their responsibilities it's impossible for industry image to be their number one priority. Only an organization dedicated to this single objective has a chance of success.

How does the NABC plan to achieve this mission?
The NABC provides both pro-active and re-active public relations to broadcast the collision repair industry's voice to the national media. Programs underway include a national public relations effort to educate consumers and repairers on issues such as eliminating fraud and finding a quality collision repair facility. The NABC publishes "The Good News" which is its regular newsletter to members. It provides important information for helping everyone in the industry work on image, but it especially shares positive stories about people in the industry. The NABC provides consumer educational material to industry members to help them improve their image at the local level. The NABC coordinates with national charities to provide the industry with the means to achieve national recognition for their commendable work. The NABC also sponsors the Pride Awards that recognize the community volunteer efforts of industry members.

How is the NABC funded?
The National Auto Body Council is funded by membership dues and contributions from every segment of the collision repair industry including individual shop operators, automobile manufacturers, insurers, paint and equipment manufacturers, parts suppliers, trade associations and others.

How can I support the NABC, can I become a member?
The National Auto Body Council is a not-for-profit organization and accepts memberships from both businesses and individuals that work in the collision repair industry.

In addition to membership, individuals and businesses can support the NABC through financial contributions and volunteer efforts for specific NABC projects.
